Primarily taking inspiration from fashion design, my approach to costume realization is based in a love of clothing and an interest in how garments are used to communicate with an audience. Working with a designer to successfully realize their vision, making use of the teamwork and collaboration within costume, allows for a diversity of strengths and approaches to produce visually arresting work.
I have recently graduated from Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where I studied Design for Performance BA(Hons). During my time at RWCMD I have learnt a variety of skills from pattern cutting to millinery, but have ultimately enjoyed the organisational side within the costume department. This led me to my interest in Costume Supervision, I hope to learn more about this role in the near future.
